I am honored to serve as the principal of Meadows Elementary and am thrilled to return to the school that first inspired my love of learning. As a proud graduate of Topeka Public Schools and a Meadows Elementary alumna, it is a privilege to give back to the community that helped shape who I am.

I began my career in education in 2014 as a classroom teacher at Bishop Elementary. In 2017, I joined Jardine Elementary, where I taught until 2021. I then transitioned into school leadership, serving as Dean of Students for two years and Administrative Intern for two years at Jardine Elementary. Most recently, I had the privilege of serving as Assistant Principal at Williams Elementary during the 2025–2026 school year.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building positive relationships and creating a school culture where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. I believe that strong partnerships between school, families, and the community are essential to student success, and I look forward to working alongside our incredible staff, students, and families to help every Monarch thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and am a proud mom to my two daughters, Lily and Rosemary. I am excited to serve the Monarchs and look forward to all we will accomplish together!

Greetings! I am pleased to serve the Meadows team of amazing families, educators, and staff as your Assistant Principal.

I have served the families in Topeka Public Schools since 2007, first as a volunteer parent and para-educator at McCarter Elementary School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Fort Hays State University in 2013, and went on to teach second through fourth grades and Reading and Math Intervention at Lowman Hill Elementary School. After earning my Master's Degree from K-State and the Topeka Leadership Academy in 2022, I came to Meadows in my current role.

I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter, both of whom are products of Topeka Public Schools, and Otis, our golden lab, who is a registered Therapy Dog.

On any given day, you can find me rolling around the Pods supporting students and teachers or taking Otis on visits.

I am grateful to be here at Meadows, serving you, the staff, and your amazing children. Thank you for entrusting them to us every year. It's going to be a great one!
